NFL Playa of The Year 2008: Thomas Jones, RB NY Jets

Thomas Jones – RB NY Jets – is off to a great start in the 2008 season. After 7 games, he has 532 rushing yards on just 122 carries (4.4 avg.) and 5 total touchdowns. He has shown the toughness in-between the tackles and still has the speed to outrun most defenders. He has even caught 14 passes this year and is on pace to surpass his 2007 totals.

I am giving TJ my vote for NFL Playa of The Year for the ‘08 season right now. What you say? The season isn’t over yet… are you trippin’? Nah… my vote has nothing to do with TJ’s game on the field. He is the POY for his game off the field.
