Pit Bulls & The NFL

The NFL  – aka The Shield – needs to think about it’s next policy of enforcement being the restriction of its players owning Pit Bulls. Seriously, perspective needs to be given after the latest incident involving the Pittsburgh Steelers James Harrison’s (Super Bowl MVP XLIII) son.

With Michael Vick on his way back to the sports, the NFL cannot afford any of its players having issues with these animals.

You have a few irresponsible breeders and a few irresponsible owners and you get a reputation that is unfounded and untrue. The breed us the most loyal, intelligent, tenacious, loving, and agile of all the breeds. Couple this with their high tolerance for pain and, just as a gun, in the wrong hands they can be dangerous. To all Black males, this is how the media has tried to portray you. a few bad apples don’t spoil the bunch. Many of the dogs owned by Vick were placed in good homes with no incident. How do I know…..I owned two.
